Craig Campbell has been on a hot streak for most of 2013 with his hit songs “Outta My Head” and “Keep Them Kisses Comin” climbing the country music charts and the country music superstar will ring out 2013 even bigger than he welcomed it in.
According to a tweet from Music City Bowl on Dec. 31, Craig Campbell sang “God Bless America” to open the Franklin American Mortgage Company Music City Bowl in Nashville on Monday, Dec. 30. The singer/songwriter has been on tour promoting his sophomore CD, “Never Regret” and the first single “Outta My Head” spent 54 weeks on the country music charts.
Craig Campbell is poised to have an even bigger year in 2014 with the recent release of the second single “Keep Them Kisses Comin” and his country version of Lorde’s Grammy-nominated “Royals” gaining popularity on the country and pop charts.
Earlier this year Campbell talked about hosting the first annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge at CMA Fest 2013. Craig Campbell's Celebrity Cornhole Challenge raised over $15,000 for the TJ Martell Foundation’s colon cancer research. Raising awareness about colon cancer is something Campbell takes very seriously, as his father passed away at the age of 36 from colon cancer. Campbell lost his stepfather to cancer as well, but this time it was throat cancer. Plans for the second annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge at CMA Fest 2014 are already underway.
