Craggar celebrates St. Patrick's Day at Legoland Florida with green Chima river

Chicago has its green river for St. Patrick's Day, but the Windy City isn't the only place you can find a shamrock-colored waterway. Cragger the Crocodile transformed the water in the Quest for Chi ride at Legoland Florida from its usual clear color to a bright shade of green. Check out the video accompanying this article for more details, as the wily croc was caught on camera in the midst of his dye job.

Craggar's sneaky move happened on the Sunday before the holiday, when he sneaked past Laval the Lion and dumped in enough dye to transform all 219,000 gallons of water in the ride. That means that the cascading waterfalls of Mount Cavora are also flowing in green, creating a perfect St. Patrick's Day photo opportunity at the park.

If you ride the Quest for Chi ride, be prepared to get very, very wet! You can blast a water cannon at other boats and spectators watching from shore, but they can do the same to you. Jump here for a full video of the ride.
