As with the last article about cards, this one is about using old cards. Last time we made frames from the cards. This time we are going to take the cut out pieces if they are still useable to make magnets. Or you can buy new cards and cut pictures out of them. Cards can be bought at Wal-Mart  or Factory Card Outlet, just to name a few. Some can even be bought at the local thrift store.

Items needed:
• Greeting Cards/Cut Outs
• Craft Knife/Scissors
• Hot Glue Gun or Elmer’s Glue
• Magnet Pieces

For this project you can use the bits of card that you cut out if you think they will make cute magnets. Some cards are not good for frames, but great for cutting out pieces. In the photo you see a butterfly magnet, which is part of a card that could not be used as a frame.

So you want to get your piece of card, and make sure you trim it up to the size you want. Next you will be putting the magnets on the back. Some of the self-adhesive ones work great. Once you have the magnet on the back you are ready to show off your work.

These can be dressed up with ribbons, glitter glue, puff paints and so on. They are great gifts as well for the person that has little space but has a fridge.
