Crafts are coming to Indiana

Crafts are coming to Indiana!

Spring is nearing! With Spring and then Summer nearing quickly, the crafting season takes off with a flourish. Not that crafting ever goes to sleep; it just seems that the world wakes up and gets more involved when the weather gets nicer and the sunshine beats down upon our sleepy creativity.

When the blooms of spring begin to peak out or we even think they are going to, we start to get the itch. If you’ve ever had the itch, then you know what I’m talking about. Folks start thinking about redecorating, freshening up this, changing the colors of that, or adding a little pizzazz to everything else. Know what I mean?

Sure you do! And what better way to satisfy that persistent itch than to see what the hidden wonders of local talent have to offer this year? Some of the most interesting and exciting creations are born at a local crafts show, shop, or event in someone’s hometown.

Within two hours of Indianapolis there are thousands of craft events each year. Beginning in January and running all the way through December’s end, there is no month left untouched.

One such enormous event is happening May 19th in Schererville, Indiana. This quaint little town of approximately 30,000 residents sits in a prime location to attract artists and audiences from some of the greatest cities in our nation. Schererville is conveniently located just a little over two hours north of Indianapolis, IN and an hour away from both Chicago, IL and the Great Lake State of Michigan.

So whether crafting is your mainstream occupation and creative outlet or you are shopping to refine and refurbish after the grueling cold winter, don’t miss out on all the wonderful creations coming to Schererville at the first ever Annual Shopping Affair Vendor & Craft Show.

This event will play host to more than 80 artists, crafters, and vendors and will be sure to put a spring in your step. Coming just one week after Mother’s Day 2013 your mom would be thrilled to be your guest to browse the latest and greatest of the creative genius.

Whether you are searching for the latest in Tupperware, looking to be a Pampered Chef or interested in the customized jewelry designs of some enormously talented artists, you will not walk away from Schererville’s Shopping Affair Vendor & Craft Show empty handed or empty hearted. Ann-Marie Prince’s events are always designed to bring a little extra happiness to the world. This Schererville event will benefit the Calumet area Humane Society and help out care of those pets still waiting to share their love.

Enjoy the crafts and share your treasures!
