Thrift shops, flea markets and yard sales are good places to look for potential craft projects. For the project in the accompanying photo a blue cut glass goblet, a small clear cut glass bowl and a few flat bottomed glass pieces that can be found in craft store were the objects used.
To make this project you will need to be sure the inside curvature of the bowl fits snugly on the bottom of the goblet and that the glass beads sit firmly on the bottom of the small bowl.
Your will need a tube of clear silicone adhesive for this project. Turning the goblet upside down put a nice bead of adhesive around the edge. Place the bowl upside down on top of the goblet bottom being sure the bowl is straight and not leaning to one side. Put a little adhesive on each of the flat bottomed beads and lay them on the bottom of the bowl. It will take an hour or so to set up. You now have a nice gift for someone special.
A small tea light can be placed under the goblet to give off a nice glow at night. This could be used as a table topper or on a small table in a bedroom or bathroom.
