It's cold outside and the kids start going stir crazy during this time of year being stuck in the house.  Of course there is still plenty to do with all the technology of the times, but we as parents have the responsibility to keep their creativity in check.  The Scrap Room in Lebanon has the perfect solution for our crafty kids and their imaginations.

Once a month The Scrap Room hosts "Kids Club".  This is a class that was designed with our kiddy crafters in mind.  They learn a new technique each month and get to keep their creations. In December they made a two page Christmas scrapbook page complete with embellishments.  They also decorated a pocket calendar to give as a Christmas present.  This class is becoming very popular with the local kids, and several of them attend on a monthly basis. The December class had so many in attendance they had to split it into two different classes, not only were the regulars in attendance but several brought friends as well.

January's class is scheduled for Jan. 30 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.  The cost is $7 and the instructor is Lisa Rode. Lisa has many years of craft and scrapbooking experience. She is wonderful and very patient with the kids who attend her class and they all adore her.

To reserve a spot for your child to attend this class, just call The Scrap Room at 615-547-9590. The Scrap Room is located at 1029 West Main Street, Suite H, Lebanon, TN 37087
