Celebrating two of everyone’s favorite things, beer and awesome chicks, in one glorious party on August 23rd. This event is putting the ladies who make Charlotte crafty in the spotlight! This event not only recognizes the ladies in the brew industry but local women leaders who make Charlotte stand out. Join in for:

-Chef Rochelle on site from QC Pantry sampling homemade pimento cheese and sliders

-The high-flying ladies of Aerial CLT performing aerial art demos

-Alchemy the Workshop offering makeup and hair tips

-The Charlotte Roller Girls hosting a relay race open to all attendees to participate

- Radio Lola, The Waves, and Grown Up Avenger Stuff rocking the event all day with live music

-Avant Garland Designs in the brewery showcasing her handmade jewelry for sale

-Chef Tara with Bleu Barn Bistro on site cooking up tasty grub for purchase

-Women's home brew competition! Attendees can visit each homebrew station for beer from 10 competitors, and vote for a winner. The styles will vary as the challenging the brewers to get creative!

-And we'll be tapping a special keg just for the event brewed by the Charlotte Beer Babes and more to come!

Tickets for entry to the event are $10 and can be purchased the day of the event at the door. Your ticket admits you to free sampling from QC Pantry, samples of all the homebrew selections, all the entertainment listed above, and one beer of your choice from the taproom. Proceeds from Craft Chicks Hustle Harder benefit the Pink Boots Society, empowering women beer professionals to advance their careers in the beer industry through education.

Local women homebrewers are going to be competing in a people’s choice competition! So far women from the following local clubs are going to be participating: Carolina BrewMasters, CABREW, Salisbury Homebrewers Club, Iredell Brewers United, and Palmetto State Brewers. The winning competitor gets a trophy and their beer brewed on the Unknown Brewery small batch system. So come out and support your local ladies!

The celebration runs 2-8pm at the Unknown Brewery. This event isn't just for the ladies – guys are welcomed and encouraged to celebrate!
