Cleveland beer enthusiasts should not miss the 3rd annual Columbus Winter Beerfest, a celebration of craft beers, being held on Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12 at the Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. It is approximately a 2 hour drive from Cleveland to Columbus.
Columbus Winter Beerfest Featuring over 300 craft beers from over 60 breweries, the Columbus Winter Beerfest gives beer lovers the chance to sample and enjoy some world class beverages but also gives them the chance to support a good cause. All proceeds go to the Joe Duskin Music Foundation which brings professional musicians into the Columbus schools to promote the playing of musical instruments by the students.
VIP admission tickets include an early entry to the event (6:30 p.m.), an 8 ounce souvenir sampling glass and 25 tasting tickets. Cost is $55 at the door ($45 with advance purchase). Regular admission includes a 5 ounce acrylic sampling glass and 25 tasting tickets with a 7:30 p.m. entry to the event. Cost is $45 at the door and $35 for advance tickets.
Admission for Designated Drivers is $15 and the price includes a $6 coupon for food and free, unlimited bottled water or soft drinks (at the Designated Driver booth).
You must be 21 years of age to attend this event.
There will be live entertainment and plenty of food available for purchase.
