American Craft Beer Week is here, and the Tampa Bay Area is going all out. On both sides of the bay, craft beer enthusiasts will be celebrating in grand style.  Every day until the 22nd, local craft beer bars and breweries are holding special events to celebrate American craft beer.

Today, here are some of the choices:

• Cigar City Brewing in Tampa continues their week-long scavenger hunt.  Winners will recieve a collection of "seriously rare" beers from the cellar at the brewery.  See their site for the full details.
   
• Also at Cigar City, Nielsbohrium release day!  A very special collaboration CCB did a few months ago with Mikkeller. This Imperial Sweet Stout brewed with raisins has been mellowing in rum barrels for a few month and is ready to go! The release will begin with the opening of the tasting room and will continue until it runs out. Bottles will be $20 and there will be a limit of a case (12 bottles). Also on Saturday there will be lots of very special beers from both Milkkeller and CCB on draft so come out and have a few!
   
• The Ale and the Witch - St Pete
  
  12 dedicated taps to an entire State whose diversity is great.
  Opening early at 1:30 for Ravenbrau group and the Lightning game.
  We roll into the early evening honored to have Roy Schneider with Kim Mayfield performance in the courtyard (nationally recorded folk artist) at 6 p.m..
  Follow that with local favorites The Urban Gypsies of Florida's festive music celebration at 8:30 then chill to our mix master DJ grooving into the early hours to unwind to.

  The real deal of the day is the Stone Oaked Aged Arrogant Bastard at $5.25 a pint. Lagunitas Czech style Pilsner at 6.2% is only $4.75, Napa Smith's Ginger Wheat @ $4.50, Lost Coast's Maibock is $5.75, The Bruery's award winning Saison de Lente is $6.  Lost Coast's Downtown Brown and Tangerine Wheat's are $5, North Coast's Red Seal Ale is $4.50, and Ballast Point's Big Eye IPA is $5

• Willards Tap House - Largo
  $1 off all Florida craft beers for the whole week.
• Dunedin Brewery - Dunedin
  Beer infused food specials.
   
• Peg’s Cantina & Brewpub - Gulfport
  All Florida Craft Draft week. They will have 3 or more of their own beers on, 3 to 4 Cigar City and 3 Dunedin Brewery. A nice selection and daily specials of $1.00 off one of the taps each day.
