American Craft Beer Week is here, and the Tampa Bay Area is going all out. On both sides of the bay, craft beer enthusiasts will be celebrating in grand style.  Every day until the 22nd, local craft beer bars and breweries are holding special events to celebrate American craft beer.

Today, here are some of the choices:

• Cigar City Brewing in Tampa continues their week-long scavenger hunt.  Winners will recieve a collection of "seriously rare" beers from the cellar at the brewery.  See their site for the full details.
   
• Also at Cigar City, Florida Tap Takeover with Swamp Head Brewing from Gainesville. Come by the CCB Tasting Room and taste a variety of beers from our friends up in Gator Country, many of them award winning! We’ll change out most to all of the taps and feature the beers from this very special brewery for the day.
   
• The Ale and the Witch - St Pete
  Pennsylvania Beer Night.  Featuring Beers from Victory, Erie, and Weyerbacher

• Willards Tap House - Largo
  European Invasion featuring Belhaven Twisted Thistle, Young’s Double Chocolate Stout, Blanche de Bruxelles, Timmermans Strawberry, Bourgogne des Flandres.  Plus $1 off all Florida craft beers for the whole week.

• Brews with Attitude: Craft Beer Fest at the T. Pepin Hospitality Centre
   
• Dunedin Brewery, Dunedin
  Dropkick Murphys Erin Red Tapping – Tribute to the Boston Irish punk band is back with its signature dropkick of hops.
   
• Peg’s Cantina & Brewpub - Gulfport
  All Florida Craft Draft week. They will have 3 or more of their own beers on, 3 to 4 Cigar City and 3 Dunedin Brewery. A nice selection and daily specials of $1.00 off one of the taps each day.
   
• Pour House at Grand Central - Tampa
  $3.50 Harpoon and Sierra Nevada drafts
