American Craft Beer Week is here, and the Tampa Bay Area is going all out. On both sides of the bay, craft beer enthusiasts will be celebrating in grand style.  Every day from today until the 22nd, local craft beer bars and breweries are holding special events to celebrate American craft beer.

Today, here are some of the choices:

• Cigar City Brewing in Tampa begins their week-long scavenger hunt.  Winners will recieve a collection of "seriously rare" beers from the cellar at the brewery.  See their site for the full details
   
• Also at Cigar City, they will be holding a "Blind IPA Tasting".  $6 gets you a blind tasting of six different IPAs and a chance to win special beers.  Beginning at 5:30 PM.
   
• Willard's Tap House in Largo is having $1 off all Florida craft beers for the whole week.
   
• Peg’s Cantina & Brewpub - Gulfport – all Florida Craft Draft week. They will have 3 or more of their own beers on, 3 to 4 Cigar City and 3 Dunedin Brewery. A nice selection and daily specials of $1.00 off one of the taps each day.
   
• Pour House at Grand Central - Tampa
  $3.50 Harpoon and Sierra Nevada drafts
  Featuring Harpoon IPA, Harpoon Leviathan IPA, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sierra Nevada Summerfest
   
• Mellow Mushroom - Brandon
  Dogfish Head kick off to American Craft Beer Week with a few DFH beers on draft & DFH brewery Rep on site to discuss.
  Event is 5:00 – 9:00pm
   
• The Ale and the Witch - St. Petersburg – Homebrewers night. Come and try out the local homebrew scene and taste their efforts!
   
• Dunedin Brewery - Dunedin - Celebrating American Craft Beer Week with the release of different beers each day. They will be available on their scheduled day when they open at 11am. After the day of its release, the beer will be available till it runs dry.  They will also be running beer-infused food specials all week from the kitchen, which will be posted each day at facebook.com/dunedinbrewery
