Craft breweries of all shapes and sizes are gearing up for Portsmouth Beer Week.
Returning for the 4th year, the 10-day celebration starts on February 23rd and continues through March 4th. The week features a variety of events, including the 2nd Annual Seacoast Winter Brew Fest at the Portsmouth Gaslight Company.
The 2013 Brew Fest includes 2 sessions, taking place both inside and outside at the Portsmouth Gaslight. A limited number of tickets are available for the VIP session, which features limited released craft beers, scotch tasting and a meet-n-greet with local brewers.
Get your tickets for the Session 1 (12:00 – 3:00 PM – $40) or Session 2 (4:00 – 7:00 PM – $40). Featuring 20+ breweries and 50+ beers, you will be able to find a beer for you at the Brew Fest.
Craft beer in the Portsmouth/Seacoast area has seen tremendous growth recently, with 3 new breweries opening in the area. This brings the total number of breweries located in the Seacoast to 7, with breweries such as: Blue Lobster Brewing, Earth Eagle Brewings, Great Rhythm Brewing, Portsmouth Brewery, Redhook Brewery, Smuttynose Brewing Company, and Throwback Brewery.
