Crab season is in full swing in Stockton this weekend where three local crab feeds are scheduled to not only benefit local community based organizations but to also provide an evening of crab dinners, dancing and door prizes.
29th Annual Deputy Sheriff's Association Crab and Oyster Feed
The San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is hosting a crab and oyster feed with what event organizers are calling big ticket raffles, a full menu, and a night of dancing to DJ music. The evening menu includes plain and marinated crab served with a choice of pesto pasta or marinara pasta, bread and butter, followed by ice-cream desserts. At no extra cost, the association will also offer a special serving of raw and barbequed oysters from 6pm-7pm.

VFW Luneta Post 52 Crab Feed Dinner and Dance
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Post 52 with the help of Edison ROTC as meal servers present an evening crab feed dinner and dance complete with door prizes, raffles and dancing. According to event organizers, the cost of the ticket includes a crab dinner alongside rigatoni served with marinara sauce, French bread and wine for the table. A no host cocktail bar will be open from 5pm-6pm. This crab feed helps fund various VFW programs including an emergency assistance fund.

St. Basil Preschool Crab Feed and Dance
St. Basil Preschool and Childcare Center with the assistance of Mike Rodorakis and the Goya group as servers will host its lone fundraiser benefiting the St. Basil Preschool and also go directly toward classroom enrichment.Crab feed tickets are selling fast for an evening of dancing, no host cocktails, raffles and a silent auction.
