It’s time to find your inner crab! On Thursday, September 26th from 6:00-9:00 p.m., award-winning chefs from around the country will cook off against one another in search of the Best Crab Dish and bragging rights for the year. In honor of their fourth anniversary, B&O American Brasserie will host the annual Crab Bash chef cook-off, this year benefiting the Pratt Contemporaries.
Both event attendees and a panel of local celebrity judges (including Baltimore magazine's Suzanne Loudermilk, Mix106.5's Reagan, and WBAL's Ava Marie) will have the opportunity to sample and vote on their favorite crab dish created by participating chefs. One chef will be awarded a “People’s Choice” award, which will be based solely on the votes of attendees, and one chef will be awarded a trophy for “Best in Show” by the judges. Chefs participating this year come from The Food Market, Salt, Fork & Wrench, B&O American Brasserie, Firefly (DC), Jackson 20 and The Grille at Morrison House (VA), Three Degrees Waterfront Bar & Grill (OR), and Mr. Rain's Fun House.
For an admission fee of $35 per person ($40 day of), guests are invited to watch the chefs battle it out, enjoy live music, sample the chefs’ dishes, and enjoy cocktails created by members of the Baltimore Bartenders’ Guild. Admission also includes a raffle ticket with the chance to win a variety of prizes.
