CPS workers get beaten by cops while removing children

The NY Post reported this morning that two CPS workers who were sent two remove two children from an abusive home in the Bronx reported that the NYPD officers that were dispatched as back-up ended up beating the CPS workers, and dragging them from the home by their hair.
Deputy Commissioner defended the officers, saying that their actions did not rise to the level required for involvement of internal affairs, and said that the precinct’s integrity control officer would review the complaint against the officers.
