Chicago Public Schools have had many many things going on. There was the strike back in September 2012, Healthier Meals for students, Making the school day and year longer, School Closings, and more.
One of the things well not actually a thing but a person is also going on as part of CPS!
Devin Velez, is an 18 year old male student of Chicago Public Schools!! He is a senior Cadet at Rickover Navel Academy which is located at 5900 Glenwood Avenue in Chicago, IL. Devin is One Of The TOP TEN FINALIST on American Idol in its 12th season in 2013!!

It's Impossible was sung in English and Spainish on American Idol. No one had any complaints or anything negative to say.
"Devin started singing when he was a toddler probablly started singng at such a young age beause his mother would always be singing around the house". His mother was pofessional singer she says by the time he was 10 years old he had surpassed her."
