Perhaps the three most common reasons for choosing a vegetarian diet are

  • for improved health
  • compassion for animals
  • concern for the  environment.

This article touches lightly on the environmental benefits of vegetarianism, and by lightly, I mean lighter than air.

By now, most have heard the theory of how a troubling byproduct of cow digestion might be contributing to global warming. If only we had less cows in the world, then maybe it would 't be so hot here in Atlanta!
