Henry manages to use Annie and Teo’s presence to his advantage. What’s confusing is what Henry’s plan in Copenhagen was in the first place. It doesn’t seem like he was excepting either one of them. He seems to have come up with a genius, last minute plan. There are too many variables that don’t add up when it comes to Henry. Either he knew something in advance that would lead him to believe Teo would come after him in Copenhagen, but he makes a comment to Annie that negates that, but what was his plan for the one missile that didn’t make it to Bogota if Teo wasn’t in Copenhagen. What is your take on Henry’s actions in this episode?
Teo ends up dying from a shattered femur and loss of blood. Now, it’s hard to figure out what to make of him in his dying episode. He doesn’t make any real change. Teo is still out for himself, but at the very end, he asks Arthur about the possibility of coming back to DC. Maybe this is the writer’s attempt to show that Teo has given up his blood feud, but it seems too easy. Teo spends this episode going after Henry, wanting to kill him. It’s hard to buy this transformation, and then Teo dies before the viewers get a chance to tell if Teo’s transformation sticks. The story he tells about his earliest memory of Arthur is great though, and it helps viewers make an emotional connection. Will you miss Teo?
Calder seems generally surprised at Auggie’s suggestions that he has a hidden agenda. When the entire season has basically painted Calder as the bad guy, it’s difficult to jump ship and start thinking the other way. In some regards, this makes it easier for viewers to side with Annie and Joan’s suspicions. They can relate to the characters on the screen. It would be great if Calder wasn’t aligned with Henry, but this could all be a giant fake out. Do you think Calder is working for Henry?
