#covered or #uncovered: Viewers to vote on Super Bowl XLVIII David Beckham ad

It's Super Bowl TV ad season, and voters will decide the content of at least one ad. As news.com.au reported on Friday, depending on a vote, viewers will get to see retired soccer star David Beckham #covered or #uncovered.

The video (embedded) asking viewers to vote was originally posted to YouTube on Thursday.

The ad, scheduled to be aired during the Feb. 2 Super Bowl XLVIII, is for his David Beckham line of clothing for retailer H&M. The video is a preview of the ad, in which Beckham is accidentally locked out of a photo shoot -- on a rooftop -- wearing only his underwear.

With no way back in, Beckham is forced to improvise -- including ziplining. H&M says that he does all his own stunts in the ad, which will culminate in one of two ways -- either with Beckham clothed or unclothed, depending on the results of the vote.

Naturally, the ad will be appropriately censored for television.

Voting is slated to start on the H&M website, hm.com, on Monday, Jan. 27 and run through 11:59 p.m. EST on Feb. 1. Beckham himself will appear at the H&M store in Times Square on Feb. 1, the day prior.

On that day, fans can either try to get his autograph or vote on iPads with customized software.
