Teen bride Courtney Stodden believes she’s iconic and compared herself to icons of beauty, such as Marilyn Monroe when she spoke to RumorFix.
The website posted a video of Stodden, 18, on Mar. 2, 2013, in which she said, “I look back to the pin-up days—Jayne Mansfield, Brigette Bardot, Marilyn Monroe, and those beautiful iconic women.”

She continued, “…I feel I am [iconic]. I feel like I’m different, I married young. Those women were old souls, and I feel like I can connect with them. We are both old souls and we’re having fun, and being glamorous and flirty.”

Just last month, the 2nd Annual Who’s Who Awards recognized Stodden’s uniqueness and named her the New Hollywood Starlet.

She also recently completed a music video entitled “Reality,” which a porn company has offered to remake in a racier format.

In May 2011, when Stodden was 16, she made headlines by marrying "Green Mile" actor Doug Hutchison, who was 51. He and the teen married in Las Vegas with the blessing of her parents.
