Courtney Stodden's plump lips, plastic surgery cause Internet stir

Courtney Stodden's plump lips are causing a stir. The teen reality TV star showed off a photo of her new lip-job on Instagram and Twitter Sunday, wrote a Feb. 12 NewsOXY report. She "loves" her new pouty lips, but some fans think the Courtney's plastic surgery is a miss on many levels.

Courtney Stodden must have turned a new leaf since she split from her husband, 53-year-old Doug Hutchison. Ever since Courtney and the "Green Mile" actor ended their marriage of two and half years in 2013, she has been letting her hair down, so to speak.

Courtney posted a pic of her newly-enhanced lips and appeared to be over the moon about the botox-filled puckers.

However, some readers thought her new lip-rack made her look a bit horrifying. That may be taking things a bit too far, but it makes one wonder why the young teen is spending a lot of time getting things nipped and tucked nowadays. She's already gotten a breast enhancement and allegedly a bit more, but who's counting.

Courtney Stodden's lips, breasts and what not, bring up memories of Heidi Montag aka the "Queen of Plastic Surgery." After countless body augmenting procedures from Hollywood plastic surgeons, the former "The Hills" star recently dished on her past insecurities that led to her bad decisions. Moreover, she regrets having gone under the knife so many times.

Is the "Couples Therapy" star heading down the same path? It's unknown, but themes of regret similar to Montag's story are cropping up in many tell-all memoirs.

Stodden is getting a ton of attention, but for the wrong reasons. First, there was her controversial marriage at 16 to a man more than twice her age and a rumored sex tape. Now, news of puffy lips is causing a ripple on the Internet.

Are Courtney Stodden's lips a hit or miss?
