Add Courtney Stodden to the list of celebrities who are vegetarians, reports Foodista. After jogging wearing a PETA t-shirt with the word "vegetarian" written across the front, Courtney revealed that she's dedicated to animal rights.
"The general public doesn't know that I am a total vegetarian. I believe in the rights of animals and respecting them," Courtney declared. "They are angelic creatures and deserve to be treated so."
Courtney also uses Twitter as a platform for helping to protect animals.
"New @peta ANGORA FUR investigation reveals the most horrifying sounds you've ever heard," she recently tweeted.
In addition, the vegetarian celebrity helped PETA by walking two cute puppies for a photo shoot, reports Radar Online.
“It’s our responsibility to protect our animals… let’s be their voice," tweeted Courtney.
She also deserves credit for recognizing what it means to be a feminist, tweeting "Bein a feminist 2 me is expressing yourself & livin life the way you want to as a woman while supporting other women's rights."
Famed for getting married when she was only 16 to then-“Lost” actor 51-year-old Doug Hutchinson, Courtney recently told Fox News that she's "just looking to have fun and to grow into who I am as a woman and be single and independent and build my own foundation."
Her goal: Enjoy life at 19.
"I’m just my taking the time to be me and be single and be 19 and to try and be as much as a normal 19 year old as I possibly can," declared Courtney.
