Us Weekly reported on Jan. 6 that Courtney Cox came out and talked about her soon-to-be ex-husband David Arquette and their relationship since their divorce. The site reports that she said their relationship is better now than it was when they were married.
While Cox said that she would never recommend divorce to couples experiencing trouble, it worked in her case. She said that she appreciates Arquette more now that they are separated than she did when they were together. In this case, the couple ended up much better as friends than lovers.
She said she believes that they two of them are more appreciative of each other, and then added that she hoped he felt the same. Cox said that David Arquette is her best friends in the world.
Courtney Cox married Arquette in 1999 and the two eventually separated in October 2010. While the separation was not amicable at first, the two eventually settled things and became friends once again. They both filed for joint custody of their eight-year-old daughter, Coco.
Arquette is now dating Entertainment Tonight's Christina McClarty while Cox is happy to remain single for now.
