Jenelle Evans split from her husband Courtland Rogers over a week ago, however, she has yet to file for an annulment or a divorce, so they are still very much married -- which makes Courtland's admission that he cheated on her critical.
See, Jenelle hasn't filed for divorce yet because she'd rather just get the whole thing annulled and go on as if nothing even happened. However, since they were engaged and planning to marry before they actually did and went on to get pregnant during their marriage, it is unlikely she'll be eligible. So now that she's likely heading for divorce, she's going to have to prove that it was Courtland who is the reason for her the demise of her marriage.
As Wetpaint Entertainment pointed out on January 31, "Courtland insists that he did nothing wrong, but in an effort to defend himself he accidentally-on-purpose admitted to hooking up with another girl — after Jenelle had moved out." In other words, Courland admitted to committing adultery while married and if Jenelle plays her cards right, she could prove this in court and get through their divorce unscathed.
While Courtland has been sloppy post-split, Jenelle is being much smarter about their split. While she is living with her ex-fiance Gary Head, she's keeping the terms of their relationship under wraps. While their clearly seems to be something going on between them, both Jenelle and Gary have said that they are just friends and not hooking up in any way.
