Courteney Cox engagement ring? On the night before officially announcing her upcoming nuptials to her much younger boyfriend, the Friends actress appeared in public wearing a lovely diamond ring that sparked speculation about her relationship status. According to a June 27, 2014 report by People, the youthful actress and her Snow Patrol musician boyfriend Johnny McDaid were seen at Craig’s Restaurant in Los Angeles Wednesday night, and eagle-eyed paparazzi spotted a promising piece of jewelry on her left ring finger as she and McDaid sat in their car and prepared to leave.
On the day after paparazzi first photographed the mysterious ring, Cox confirmed that she and McDaid were indeed engaged with a short message on Twitter that read, "I'm engaged to him!" The happy couple has been dating for just six short months. Her younger beau made a matching announcement. His read, "I'm engaged to her!"
Courteney Cox recently turned 50, but she has an age-defying flawless face and body that women half her age would envy. Her boyfriend-turned-fiancé is just 37, but pictures of the couple reveal that she actually looks years younger than he does. It's no surprise that the Cougar Town cutie is engaged to a younger man. Her ex-husband David Arquette is eight years younger than she is. They share one child, a girl named Coco. Arquette became a father for the second time when his girlfriend gave birth to their son Charlie West earlier this year.
Paparazzi pics of Courteney Cox's engagement ring seem to show "a super-thin, delicate band with pavé diamonds set with a large emerald or princess-cut diamond," according to People's report, but official pics of the diamond ring are still forthcoming. Perhaps Cox will share images of the jewelry on Twitter for her fans to enjoy. For now, the couple's sweet Twitter engagement announcement is lacking the most important detail-- the ring!
