Los Angeles-area fans of hard hitting metal band Courage, You Bastards may be wondering why the band hasn't played any shows in their home stomping grounds for nearly half a year. Well the answer is simple: they've been busy putting the finishing touches on their sophomore release. But now the new one is ready and the guys will be celebrating by playing a special record release show for "Across Those Fires and the Dark" at Pasadena's Old Towne Pub on February 8.

Singer Michael Underdown, guitarist Joey Sanchez, bass man Anthony Godoy and drummer Adrian Baca are Courage, You Bastards and it's a pretty safe bet to say that they've got some pent up energy to release, so expect an extra kickin' performance at the showcase for the new music. Warming up the crowd for CYB will be Krud, the Celestial Flaw and Audio Vampire. Doors at the Old Towne open at 8:00, tickets are $6 and you have to be 21 or over to get in.

For more information on the show, visit the Dr. Graves Productions Facebook page.
