One great way to get more coupons is to subscribe to All You magazine. Not only does the magazine have various coupons in it, but it also comes with great articles. This means that with minimal coupon usage you can save more than you spend, just as is the case with newspapers.
The two most common methods for organizing coupons is a and using an accordion style folder and using a coupon binder organization system. It's best to try out both systems and figure out what works best for you. Remember you can always tweak the system you settle on to make it better for you.
If you don't use very many coupons then most likely the accordion style coupon organizer will be best. If you use more coupons then you may find using a coupon binder organization system to be better . Whichever method you use though be sure not to throw away coupons until they are expired because you never know what kind of awesome deal with pop up.
If you buy multiple newspapers each week then it's helpful to combine the inserts that way when or if you find use for non-clipped coupons then it makes it quicker to cut them.
Any time when shopping it's helpful to know what the normal full price is & normal sale price is of items that you for frequently buy, so that way you know if a deal is actually a good deal or not. Sometimes stores and sites will have "sales" but they will have raised the initial price before reducing it so it ends up being only a couple cents off or possibly even higher than the starting price.
Plus of course different stores have difference prices. Walmart boasts about having low prices, but Target has prices that frequently will match or beat sale prices at grocery stores. In addition to that Target also gives 5 cents off for every reusable bag and 5% off the post-coupon total if one uses their Red Card (Target's credit/debit card).
