Couple wins lottery twice: $1M plus claimed

A couple wins the lottery twice while on a fishing trip. On Feb. 5, FOX News reported that Stephen and Terri Weaver purchased two lottery tickets at the same store -- one on the way to their trip and the other on the way back. Both tickets were winners and the Weaver's claimed over $1M in prize money.

The Arkansas couple may have been happy with the first ticket which hit for $1 million. The second ticket wasn't too shabby either, scoring the duo another $50,000. The tickets were purchased at T-Ricks convenience store in Pangburn -- a little store that is now making big news.

It's not often that a couple wins the lottery twice -- never mind two times in such a short period of time. While the Weaver's could afford to buy a boat or a new house, they have decided to save their money and just live a comfortable life. According to the lottery commissioner, the couple plans on paying off their bills and investing in their retirement. Perhaps more fishing trips will also be on their agenda.

It is unknown whether or not the Weaver's were as "lucky" on their fishing trip -- or if they brought any fish home. If not, the bigger picture provides them with a much better deal!

A couple wins lottery twice -- what are the odds of that? It is unknown if the Weaver's picked their own numbers or just purchased "quick picks."
