A couple in New England will never forget their wedding date, which is Jan. 9, 2013. That said, this it is not because Cheryl Bennett and Steven DeLong took a chance when the pair decided to get hitched on this particular day.
In fact, their Wednesday wedding numbers happen to match their own personal ZIP code (ZIP is an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan). Indeed, Bennett, 31, and DeLong, 39, live in the Massachusetts town that goes by 01913. So, for this couple who have been together for half a decade, that postal moniker was apparently a sign that these two should tie the knot when they chose to do the deed.
At least so it is for Bennett, who is said to be somewhat led by the meaning of particular numbers. Indeed, the new bride alerted a nearby town newspaper that she came up with this concept of marrying according to her ZIP code and that she also favors the numbers 11 and 22. She also mentioned that her beloved DeLong was born on Nov. 22.
Meanwhile, groom Steven seemed to be against picking a random date, even if that date would be, say, Valentine's Day. Instead, the pair picked this one because doing so meant that having "a date with such a significance" was surely "something special."
So where exactly will this all this happen?
