Manchester Police arrested three city residents after an investigation into the suspected criminal activity of a couple’s roommate implicated the couple, who shared a Sagamore Street apartment with the convicted felon.
According to a press release by the Manchester Police Department, on Friday, February 15, Lisa Tagalakis Fedor, 42, of Sagamore Street, Manchester was arrested on a warrant and charged with Criminal Liability to Drug Sales and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Police said they developed information during the course of an investigation that indicated Tagalakis Fedor was aware that her roommate, Robert Doane was actively involved in drug sales from the apartment they shared and was also in possession of a stolen firearm. Tagalakis Fedor reportedly allowed this ongoing activity to occur at their residence in the presence of her two young sons.
The information police developed on Doane was that he was engaged in drug sales at the residence and on January 29, 2013, detectives conducting surveillance there observed a suspected drug sale between Doane and two men outside the residence. Further investigation determined Doane had intended to sell heroin to the men, but refused to complete the transaction when he became suspicious of the unmarked police car in the area.
Then on February 05, 2013, NH Probation and Parole, together with Manchester Police, visited the residence to check on Doane, but only Kristopher White was home at the time. Police located a small amount of suspected cocaine in Doane’s room and also recovered a handgun that had been reported stolen out of a parked vehicle at the Target store parking lot in Hooksett, NH on January 7, 2013.
Police located the stolen gun in the room White shares with Tagalakis Fedor and learned that White not only knew the recovered gun was stolen, but had agreed to hold on to it for Doane, who reportedly had just left the residence prior to police arrival. Kristopher White, 21, was arrested the next day on a felony warrant for Receiving Stolen Property.
Robert Doane, 26, was finally located and arrested on February 7, 2013 and was held at NH state prison on a probation violation. He has since been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Attempt to Commit Sale of a Narcotic, Possession of a Narcotic and Armed Career Criminal.
Tagalakis Fedor’s children have been placed with a family member pending further assessment by DCYF.
