Work at San Diego county government offices lasts until the three day Labor Day weekend. County workers have Labor Day off MOnday, September 1st.

County offices, and libraries, close down for the annual day to enjoy the Summer weather, and, the quiet time off work.

San Diegans with outdoor plans will find open county parks and neighborhood parks. The parks stay open on the holiday during their normal hours. Campgrounds also stay open normal hours.

Community centers in the county do stop activities, and close down, on Monday. Centers in Spring Valley, Fallbrook, and Lakeside will be closed.

Sports activities scheduled at the 4S Ranch Sports Park will go on.

Sheriff officers and county emergency responders stay at work on active duty during the holiday hours. Ready to handle any holiday fun troubles.

County workers return to reopened county offices on Tuesday for normal work hours.
