Wisconsin's Country Thunder music festival already released a list of country music all-stars, and just this morning, Dec. 21, added even more performers to the lineup. They issued a press release announcing four new acts to the already impressive lineup that had been announced on Nov. 30. Country Thunder runs in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin from July 24-27, 2014.
Country Thunder announced a number of acts on Nov. 30 including headliners ACM "Male Vocalist of the Year" Jason Aldean ("Amarillo Sky"), four-time and current ACM and CMA "Female Vocalist of the Year" Miranda Lambert ("Kerosene"), Billboard Chart-topper Gary Allan ("Man to Man"), and ACM "Top New Male Artist" Brantley Gilbert ("Country Must be Country Wide").
It seemed as though they had done all the programming they could as they had also booked well-known country sensations such as three-time CMT winner Sawyer Brown ("Six Days on the Road"), Grammy winner Joe Diffie ("Pickup Man"), multi-CMA/Grammy-winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band ('Fishin' in the Dark") and Billboard chart-toppers Craig Morgan ("Redneck Yacht Club") and Mark Chesnutt ("It's a Little Too Late").
Those on the lookout for the newer talent in country music still found their niche in the lineup in finding Colt Ford ("Dirt Road"), Charlie Worsham ("Could it Be"), Will Hoge ("Even if it Breaks Your Heart"), and Chad Brownlee ("Crash") added to the mix.
Executive Producer Troy Vollhoffer said,
We feel it’s important to get the right mix of talent every year. We think we've gotten it right yet again. Our headliners are incredibly strong and we've backed them up with a good mix of hot, young talent, and classic artists who appeal to our entire demographic. We know that our fans are going to have a blast this summer!
This morning they've added even more fun to this summer music festival in announcing additional performers Thompson Square ("Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not"), Eli Young Band ("Crazy Girl"), Randy Houser ("How Country Feels"), Thomas Rhett ("Get Me Some of That"), Dallas Smith ("Nothing But Summer"), and LoCash Cowboys ("Keep in Mind").
