Just days after adding 28 dates to his 2013 concert tour, country artist Kenny Chesney announced that he would soon release a brand-new CD on the Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville label.
The yet-to-be-titled disc will be the follow-up CD to the hit-makers mega-successful "Welcome To The Fishbowl," which bowed at No. 1 on Billboard's charts and became his 11th consecutive album to achieve such a feat.
"It's gonna be an amazing summer and I'm really excited to bring some new music to No Shoes Nation," said Chesney in a Jan. 18 email shared with Examiner.com, referring to the new record that's set for release April 30.
In the meantime, the prep for his No Shoes Nation Tour is full speed ahead. The concert outing is set to officially get under way March 16 in in Tampa, Fla., and already the hard-touring, award-winning Chesney's in a celebrating mood.
"The fans are the foundation of No Shoes Nation," Chesney said. "They built it from the ground up, and they built it with heart, passion and the love of life and music, and I can't wait to feel that connection again throughout the summer of 2013."
