Country music mega-star Keith Urban just celebrated his eighth wedding anniversary with Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman. Together, they have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The nickname that he uses for his wife is "baby girl," as indicated by an article on the official Country Music Television (CMT) website.

During his sold-out concert in Melbourne, Australia, Urban called his wife "baby girl" in front of thousands of dedicated yet screaming fans. "Eight years, 'baby girl.' This song is for you. I love you so much," he remarked during his live show. Kidman was in attendance, watching him from a VIP box.

When the Aussie country singer went on the Rod Laver Arena, he began telling the Australian audience the story behind the song "Once in a Lifetime," which was inspired by Kidman. The song is a track from his "Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing" album.

According to that same CMT article, it was a "heartfelt performance" that was well-received by the crowd.

Urban subsequently revealed that he sang the love ballad "Making Memories of Us" at their own wedding. The superstar joked that he was "too cheap to get anybody else" to sing it, hence he serenaded his bride to the tune. He went on to sing "Making Memories of Us" at his concert.

Urban is a judge on the reality singing competition, American Idol, along with such artists as Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. An award-winning country singer and songwriter, Urban has won the "Best Male Country Vocal Performance" Grammy award four times in his career for such songs as "You'll Think of Me," "Sweet Thing," "Stupid Boy" and "Til Summer Comes Around."
