On Jan. 16, country singer Paul Sikes spoke by telephone about his newest album “Craft,” which includes such songs as “The Seed,” “My Epitaph,” as well as “My Home, Tennessee” as the bonus track on there. “It was special for me to have that bonus song on there since my grandmother wrote it at the age of 82,” he remarked.
It was recorded via his independent label, 7 Layer Productions. “I am very proud of this record since I feel that there were no compromises. I got to do a lot of different things that I like to do musically. I am just really excited about the opportunities ahead,” Paul stated.
The country singer noted that “My Epitaph” is his personal favorite song on the CD and he listed Alison Krauss as his dream female duet choice in music. “Alison is a perfect singer. She is something else,” he said.
