Mindy McCready’s life has been rough the past few years and on February 17, it was reported that the country singer took her own life.
This is tragic news, especially considering the hardships that have fallen on Mindy McCready recently. Her boyfriend, David Wilson, passed away last month in an apparent suicide, but there were reports that perhaps McCready had something to do with his death. While she denied any involvement, there were those who were certain the troubled country singer was involved.
Suicide is a tragic end to Mindy McCready’s life. She struggled with addiction issues and even appeared on “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew” in 2009. Although she continued to release albums up until 2010, she was unable to recapture the success that she had with her 1996 debut album “Ten Thousand Angels” and the 1997 follow up, “If I Don’t Stay the Night.”
Little details were immediately available, other than it was an apparent suicide caused by a gun shot. The country singer had attempted suicide in the past. Mindy McCready leaves behind two young sons.
