Country singer Mindy McCready commits suicide

The country music community is mourning the loss of one of their own. Several media outlets have reported that McCready committed suicide on Sunday evening. She was at the age of 37.

Most recently, Mindy McCready reported to rehab on February 7, but was release a few days later. After the death of her boyfriend, David Wilson, reports came out that she was heavily drinking and using prescription drugs. This lead up to her suicide.

McCready's two sons, Zander and Zayne, were removed from her care following allegations from her father, Tim McCready, that she was not caring for them.

Mindy McCready's music career showcased her vocal abilities on hit songs, "Ten Thousand Angels" and "Guys Do It All the Time." She also had a duet with Richie McDonald called "Maybe He'll Notice Her Now."
