On Feb. 20, it was announced that country singer Frankie Ballard's new album "Sunshine and Whiskey" debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot Country Albums Charts. It also charted on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts at No. 35. He is signed to Warner Music Nashville.
In addition, his lead single "Helluva Life" has moved up one spot to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, thus becoming his fastest-rising song to date. It has sold more than 300,000 units.
Ballard performed a full band show for the first time at the hallowed Ryman Auditorium stage in Nashville, Tennessee, where he treated his fans to such tracks from his CD as "Young and Crazy," "It Don't Take Much" and "Drinky Drink."
He collaborated with producer Marshall Altman on this project, which features 11 tracks that showcases Ballard's vocals and guitar-playing ability.
