Country singer Frankie Ballard performs single 'Helluva Life' on 'Today Show'

On April 2, country music singer and guitarist Frankie Ballard performed live on NBC's "Today Show." He played his No. 1 smash single "Helluva Life," where he was backed by a full band. His live performance can be seen by clicking here.

The single has sold over 435,000 digital copies and this has become his first No. 1 hit. It is the lead single from his sophomore studio album "Sunshine & Whiskey," which was released on his record label, Warner Music Nashville, which is home to such artists as Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow, among many others.

Throughout his career in the country genre, the Michigan native has shared the stage with such esteemed artists as Kenny Chesney and Taylor Swift.

His chart-topping single "Helluva Life" garnered a rave review from the online news service Digital Journal, among other media outlets.
