Country singer Frankie Ballard announces new album 'Sunshine and Whiskey'

On Jan. 3, it was announced that country singer Frankie Ballard is kicking off the New Year by revealing the cover art and track-listing of his latest studio album "Sunshine and Whiskey." The album, which was produced by Marshall Altman, is expected to be released on Feb. 11.

His newest single "Helluva Life" sits at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts, thus becoming his highest-charting single to date. His previous singles "A Buncha Girls" and "Tell Me You Get Lonely" both landed in the Top 30 on country radio.

"Helluva Life" has been well-received by fans and music critics, including Digital Journal, which dubbed it as a "helluva good country song."

Ballard hails from Battle Creek, Michigan and he is signed to Warner Music Nashville. He has shared the stage with such noteworthy musical acts as Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Bob Seger.

"I'm really proud of this," said Frankie in a press statement. "It's got songs that really mean something to me and that I knew would mean something to other people. It's got lots of different emotions, from partying and having fun to some really deep stuff. It's an emotional journey as well as a musical journey."
