On Jan. 28, it was announced that country music living legend Larry Gatlin joined Viddy, in an effort to share his life moments with his fans. Through Viddy, a video smartphone app, he will be able to give his fans a glimpse into his daily life, in 15-second video clips. Ever since Viddy debuted in 2011, it has attracted some of the biggest names in pop music including Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Usher, Britney Spears, as well as country stars Taylor Swift, Billy Dean and Julie Roberts, among many others.
According to Larry Gatlin, he remarked, “First the earth cooled, then came the dinosaurs, then Twitter and Facebook and now Viddy. I’m in.”
“Viddy is cool,” the country crooner added. “Even Papa Gatlin can do it. Stay tuned.”
He has shared such video moments such as his recent visit to Washington, DC, for the “Black Tie and Boots Inauguraul Ball,” as well as a sneak peak of the Gatlin Brothers in the studio working on a new album.
