Did you know? Bari Leigh new album “Tonight, I'm Unchained”(Starfish Music/ECR Music Group) will be out on July 29, 2014. According to press specs this album is a blend of sassy country and pop with notes of blues, this record is addicting. I must admit I’ve hear the album and this young chic is old school country such an original talent.

According to Entertainment Tonight (CBS), "Bari Leigh is set to explode with her infectious mix of pop, country, blues and soul... (a) buzz-worthy artist."

Bari is currently on tour in support of her new record and will be playing Crusaders Bar & Grill in Frederick on Friday, June 6, 2014 and will be singing the National Anthem at the Relay For Life in Poolesville on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Maryland.

Nobody can tell your story like you. Listen here to what Bari Leigh said in her bio, "I grew up steeped in classic music––spanning 1970's riff-rock, blues, and Motown––listening to iconic female singers like Dolly Parton, Etta James, and Bobbie Gentry. Women who weren't afraid to be determined, powerful and even tough if necessary. But each of them also have a deep and beautiful vulnerability to both their music and their singing. That blend is what's always been magical to me."

I can totally relate to the words that Bari spoke above. As I listened to her new album “Tonight, I'm Unchained,” I can honestly tell you that this young chic is old school country such an original talent. The album booklet is well crafted with words to all the songs. The lyrics are original and though provoking.
