Wednesday afternoon, People magazine reported that country music singer Trace Adkins has entered rehab. During the Country Cruising cruise, Trace Adkins got into an argument with an impersonator singing karaoke in a bar.

Once the ship docked in Jamaica, Adkins left the cruise to seek treatment for alcohol abuse. He had spent 12 years sober. He previously spent 28 days in rehab in 2001.

According to a representative, “Trace has entered a treatment facility after a setback in his battle with alcoholism. As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected.” reported that Trace Adkins had previously met the impersonator years before.

There is no word as to if Trace Adkins plans to cancel any upcoming tour dates. According to his website, he is scheduled to perform at the Great American Outdoor Show on Feb. 8.
