Country music represented with performers and presenters at the 2012 Grammys

The Recording Academy announced today that country superstar and five-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood will perform with musical legend Tony Bennett on the 54th annual Grammy Awards, telecast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sacramento's CBS 13 starting at 8:00 pm. Underwood is currently nominated for Best Country Solo Perrformance for "Mama's Song."

Carrie recorded "It Had To Be You" with Bennett on his Duets II album. A DVD version of the album is scheduled to be released in March, entitled Tony Bennett Duets II: The Great Performances.

Previously, it was announced that Jason Aldean will duet with Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Swift is also scheduled to perform on the show.

Aldean snagged his first three Grammy nominations; Best Country Album, for My Kinda Party; Best Country Solo Performance, for "Dirt Road Anthem" and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Kelly Clarkson. This is also Aldean's first performance at the Grammy Awards.

Taylor Swift has three nominations; Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Mean" and Best Country Album, for Speak Now.

Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and five-time Grammy winner Glen Campbell will join current Grammy nominees The Band Perry and Blake Shelton for a special performance.

The Band Perry is nominated in the all-genre Best New Artist category, while Blake Shelton has three nominations; Best Country Solo Performance, for "Honey Bee;" Best Country Song, for "God Gave Me You" and Best Country Album, for Red River Blue.

Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley and Lady Antebellum are scheduled to be presenters on the show. Lady Antebellum is also nominated for Best Country Album, for Own the Night.
