Country Music News Roundup - Week ending 2/4/2012

Kentucky Country Music Highway: Make some Roadtrip Plans to US 23 in Eastern Kentucky.  The long stretch of highway is near the homes of country music stars Loretta Lynn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Patty Loveless and more.  There is also a Country Music Highway Museum to visit.  This past Tuesday, Governor Beshear & Tom T. Hall introduced a new program called the Road to Fame to bring music back to the schools along the highway, as well as a singing contest.  More info here.
 
Renfro Valley Ticket Mess:  Country music fans were met with a major mess when tickets went on sale for some hot concerts at Renfro Valley.  Some have noted on Renfro Valley's Facebook page that they were being charged multiple times, received email confirmations, but then told they do not have the seats they reserved when they call to address the multiple charges.  Click here for the latest info.
