Country music was on display several times during the 55th annual Grammy awards on Sunday, February 10th. From performances to award acceptance speeches, there was a little bit for everyone.
Taylor Swift opened the show with her over the top performance of "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together." Carrie Underwood sang "Blown Away" and "Two Black Cadillacs" complete with lit up ball gown. Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert shared the stage to sing "Home." Zac Brown Band joined in the ensemble to pay tribute to the late Levon Helm.
Carrie Underwood won Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Blown Away." Little Big Town won Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Pontoon." Zac Brown Band won Best Country Album for "Uncaged." Taylor Swift, along with T. Bone Burnett, John Paul White, and Joy Williams won for Best Song Written for Visual Media for the song "Safe & Sound" from "The Hunger Games" soundtrack.
