Country music has lost a talented artist yesterday as reports are confirmed that Mindy McCready was found dead at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. McCready was pronounced dead at the scene of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound according to the Cleburne County, Arkansas Sheriff's Office, she was 37-years-old.
McCready, and her signature voice sold over 2 million copies of her debut album, "Ten Thousand Angels" in 1996.
The music star had a roller coaster personal life plagued by suicide attempts, drug abuse and legal matters. McCready leaves behind two sons.
She was a great artist who will be missed, her music and life ended way to soon.
One should not pass judgment on her life, she became a star at an early age and being a star does not come with an owners manual. We will never know the reason she decided to take her life, let her be remembered for her contribution she made to music as an artist.
