Georgia-born Demun Jones, whom some may know as a one-time member of the chart-topping Rehab act, is idling at the gate to unleash his debut album,“Jones County,” from Average Joes Entertainment on June 10.

In preparation of the disc's official drop date, Jones has unveiled a music video in honor of the album's upcoming single, "Tannerite" which will be followed by two other tracks, “Country Fried” and “White Trashed & Redneck’ed.”

The forthcoming “Tannerite” single is Jones’ take on a fictional tale of what happens when some southern boys are playing with explosives and what occurs when they happen upon Bigfoot.

Now available for pre-order on iTunes, “Jones County,” which was named in honor of the Peach State county from which Jones hails, "not only illustrates his evolution as an artist by infusing his country inspired lyrics with hip-hop grooves, but reveals a bit of his personal growth," too, reported the artists PR camp in a June 4 email.

Regarding his solo album, "I wanted people to know what it feels like to grow up in Jones County, and I wanted people from Jones County to appreciate what they have," Jones told Examiner in a June 5 exclusive.

In addition to the aforementioned tracks, the "Jones County" offering includes “Boondocks,” a tune that’s all-too familiar to Jones and the people of Jones County, Ga., as well as what may be "the most personal song" on the album, “I’m A Man,” which describes in detail the years of honest, ethical, hard work lived by Jones’ father, Ricky, a lifelong brick mason. Other songs on the CD are “Country Fried,” “Dixie Dimes,” “The Muddy Muddy,” “Rahhh featuring Charlie Farley,” “I’m A Man,” “Chrome” featuring Jawga Boyz, “Lake House,” “Firecracker” and“11,” which features LoCash Cowboys and Bubba Sparxxx

"I just wanted the people of Jones County to feel like they lived in the best place in the whole world when they heard the album, because to me it is,” Jones noted.

Already, Jones has racked up 200,000-plus online views for his "The Muddy Muddy" video that's embedded with this post. The song, in addition to being on his new CD, was released on the "Mud Digger 4" compilation album and reportedly has fast become an anthem for those who like big trucks and getting a little dirty.
