On Sept. 4, it was announced that the iconic country music group Restless Heart is expected to release their first-ever holiday album "A Restless Heart Christmas" via their label, Red River Entertainment. It will hit retail store shelves on Oct. 29.
This 10-track CD was produced by Restless Heart's Greg Jennings and it contains eight holiday classics and two previously unreleased songs which include "Season of Harmony" and "Santa's Prayer."
According to a press statement, Larry Stewart, the lead singer of Restless Heart, remarked, "Christmas is my favorite holiday."
Stewart added, "It's hard to believe that we didn't do this album earlier in our career. But it's pretty cool that we can release our first Christmas album on our 30th anniversary."
As indicated in biography section of their official homepage, during their 30-year career in the country industry, Restless Heart has placed over 25 singles on the country charts and they had six consecutive No. 1 hits; moreover, four of their albums have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and they have won major awards, including a trophy for the prestigious Academy of Country Music (ACM) award for "Top Vocal Group."
