Country fried steak for breakfast

Tender beef breaded and deep fried can mean only one thing…comfort food. This golden brown cutlet is so tender you don’t even need a knife to cut it and it melts in your mouth. The smooth and luxurious country style gravy over the crunchy breading with the tender beef in the middle is a perfect combination for your mouth.

You have so many textures going on you find yourself preparing the next bite before you have finished chewing the first. It’s like tunnel vision as you focus in on this meal and before you know it the only thing left is some gravy on the plate in which you take a piece of the sourdough toast to mop it up with.

The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly as you split the yolk open and watch the oozing being contained by the shredded hash browns. They were quite enjoyable as well, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and seasoned just right. These are the makings of a fabulous breakfast in which all the food worked well in complimenting each other.

Breakfast is one of those meals that is either right on or leaves something to be desired; here they hit a home run. Fatty’s located in Breckenridge did an excellent job with how quick it was served and how hot it was.

The price was great for the amount of food that was placed on the table. Fatty’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving everything from sandwiches to steaks. It is best known for their pizzas, scratch dough made every morning to their house red sauce simmered to perfection and a Sicilian deep dish pie that will have you coming back for more.
